This pegboard can be used for pegs, tracing shapes, threading and measurement. On one side of the pegboard, there is a ruler (20 cm), and on the other side, there is a stencil with three geo-shaped holes. The shapes are a circle, a square, and a triangle. Tracing the shapes will help to develop shape recognition, learning the shape’s properties, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination. One can thread lace (CR-XX-002-10) through the pegboard’s holes to make lines, line patterns, frames, a picture outline, etc. Treading improves bilateral integration and develops skills necessary for pencil grip. Children can also use pegs (MM-SM-6355) to make creative pictures or do various math activities on the pegboard. Playing with pegboards develops hand-eye coordination, shape and colour recognition, fine motor skills, hand and finger muscles, concentration, creative and logical thinking, visual perception, numeracy, and more.
