The set includes the following shapes in 2 different sizes: hexagons, squares, rectangles, circles and equilateral triangles. 

Relational attribute blocks can be used to explore fractions as well as identify geometric shapes and their properties. Let children compare the shapes and answer questions like, "What is the difference between a hexagon and a circle?" Attribute blocks can be used to create pictures and patterns. The blocks can be sorted according to colour, shape and/or size. Because the attribute blocks are transparent they can be used for colour mixing, e.g. if you put a blue block over a yellow block you will get the colour green. Transparent blocks can also be used with a lightbox.
