The bear shape of these counters makes them fun to use for kids. The bears are in 3 different stances and weigh 4g each. By comparing the weight of bears in different stances to one another, children will realise the stance doesn’t affect the weight. Because they are weighted they can be used with scales to measure weight and do weight calculations. Bear counters can also be used for addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, colour recognition, counting and patterns. Manipulating the bears helps them develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
