Googly eyes, also called wiggle eyes, are an easy and fun way to add eyes to all sorts of art projects. Note: These googly eyes are non-adhesive, so you will need to glue them. The pupils in googly eyes can move to make it feel like children’s creations are alive. The illusion of living artwork makes it more fun for children and may inspire roleplay as well as storytelling. Children can paste the googly eyes onto pictures, gift cards, photos, handmade puppets or dolls, rocks, or paintings. Googly eyes can also be added to sculptures made of dough (AC-DT-084), clay (AC-DT-081-ASS), or fun foam (AC-DT-032). Simply press the googly eyes into the sculpting material before the material dries. Adding googly eyes to artwork develops children’s hand-eye coordination, creativity, imagination, concentration, and fine motor skills.
