This liquid dye paint can be used to dye children’s crafting materials. Tip: first test the dye on a sample of the material you wish to dye. You can also use this liquid dye paint for wax-resist techniques.

Wax-resist idea:

The liquid dye won’t mix with the oil pastels; instead, you will have a fully coloured background with a clear pastel drawing on it. You can first dye the background with one colour dye, then draw with the oil pastels before adding a second colour dye. Wax resist is not just an interesting artistic effect but also a good science experiment. This liquid dye is safe for children to use and environmentally friendly.
