Children love to paint. With tempera blocks, they can paint without making a mess. If a colour in your tray is finished (AC-PT-036-PC; AC-PT-036-SC), you can place a new block into the tray. If you want an empty tray for your tempera blocks, look at AC-PT-036-TRAY. To use a tempera block, simply wet the block with a paintbrush and paint without spilling. Unlike liquid paint that needs to be thrown away after a while, tempera blocks are dry and can last for a very long time. We also sell tempera powder (AC-PT-013-BAG) and liquid tempera (AC-PT-025) separately. Painting is a form of self-expression that improves children’s self-esteem, hand-eye coordination, creativity, concentration, and confidence. Tempera paint is non-toxic.
