Children love to paint. With tempera powder paint, they can also make the paint they use.
To make the paint:
  1. Add water to the powder in a ratio of 1:1.
  2. Mix the powder with the water to make a paste.
  3. Add more water until you get the consistency you want.
  4. Use the paint for your artwork.
  5. Seal the unused powder and paint separately for later use.
Tip: experiment with adding powder glue or glass glaze to the mix.
Older children can make the paint themselves, while younger children might need a little help. Different coloured powders can be thrown together to make different colour paints (e.g., blue and red powder make purple paint).
