Painting with their fingers is a great sensory activity for small children. With finger paint, little artists can paint even though they are still too small to hold a brush. It is also good for children’s motor skill development to first paint with their hands (gross motor skills) and later with a paintbrush (fine motor skills). You can use finger paint to make handprints and footprints on your little one’s hands and feet. Finger paint can also be used for colour recognition and colour mixing.
