Children like to create artwork with coloured sand. These sand art shakers are easy to use and give your child more control over where the sand falls. By shaking softly to cover a small area or hard to cover a large area, a child develops muscle control and motor skills. Put glue on a piece of paper or object, then throw the sand over the glued area. Let excessive sand fall onto a piece of paper so you can easily throw the sand back into the shakers. Children can also use the sand art shakers to colour in sand art sheets with peel-off stickers (AC-AL-013).  Do the activities on a flat surface where there is no wind or draft. Please note that sand art and glitter can be messy, covering work surfaces and clothes is advised.
