Your child can have hours of fun using the sand shovel to build sand houses, mix “ingredients” for a mud cake, or play in water. Combine the shovel with a sand bucket (OP-SW-017-B) and/or sand moulds (OP-SW-053) for even more outdoor fun. Playing and experimenting with sand, water, and mud provides excellent sensory stimulation for children. The children also develop their self-esteem, creative and logical thinking, fine and gross motor skills, and observation skills while playing with sand toys. When playing with other kids they learn social skills like sharing, turn-taking, and teamwork.
