This Bobbles & Beads set includes 120x shaped beads, 10x double-sided copy cards, 2x spinners, 4x laces and an instruction manual. The beads in this set have 3D geometric shapes like spheres, cylinders, cubes, etc. and can be used to develop shape recognition and sorting. Playing with beads develops skills and abilities necessary for learning how to read, write, and mathematics, e.g. fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, bilateral integration, concentration, and logical and creative thinking. Beads can be laced together, used to create patterns, act as counters for basic math calculations, and so on.

Use the spinners to choose what colour or shape bead to tread next, or copy the patterns on the cards. By using the spinners and/or copy cards, children develop colour and shape recognition as well as patterning and sequencing skills. Reading a pattern card from left to right prepares children for reading text from left to right. Fun tip: Spinners can also be used for basic statistics games, like counting and comparing how many times the arrow lands on each shape or colour.
