Smiley Stilts is a fun way for small children to practice their balancing skills and bilateral coordination (working with both sides of the body at once). Good balance and coordination are necessary for healthy posture, sports, concentration and the prevention of injury. Bilateral coordination is also necessary to learn how to read and write later in life. A child can stand with one foot on each bucket and then walk with them while holding onto the ropes to ensure the stilts move with his or her feet.
