The 1000 clear square tiles can be used in the classroom to teach basic mathematical concepts, e.g. counting, calculating, measuring area, and fractions. It can also be used for statistics, bar graphs, and patterns. Activities include, but are not limited to, creating new and/or bigger shapes; colour sorting; creating, copying and extending patterns; basic math calculations like adding and subtracting; and using the tiles to measure an area. Because the tiles are transparent, they can also be used to experiment with colour mixing e.g. if you put a yellow tile over a blue tile you will see the colour green. Transparent tiles can also be used with a lightbox or overhead projector.

To be used for children Age 3+.  Younger children can sort these counters by colour, and stack them on top of each other, enhancing their fine motor skills and creativity.

Dimensions: Each tile measures 2.54 cm x 2.54 cm and is 2 mm thick.
