A tangram is a 7-piece Chinese puzzle that is created by dividing a square into smaller geometric pieces. The 7 pieces can then be used to create many creative pictures and patterns. One can also use the pieces to make other geometric shapes, e.g. use 2 triangles to make a square. By playing with the tangram pieces children learn about different geometric shapes and their properties. The pieces in this set are transparent and can be used for colour mixing or with a lightbox. This set includes 4 tangrams (28pc in total) so your child can have more pieces to play with.
