These hexagonal weights have their weights written on them (1g; 5g; 10g and 20g) and can be stacked onto one another. The red weights are 1g; the blue weights are 5g; the green weights 10g and the yellow weights 20g. Different weights are different colours to make it easier to differentiate between them. They can be used with balance scales to teach measurement of weight and volume as well as for calculations with weight. The weights can also be used as counters for basic calculations; counting; hand-eye coordination; fine motor skills; patterns; sorting and manipulating numbers.
