This balance includes 2x500ml buckets, a calibration beam and weights. The sliding calibration beam ensures precision when weighing objects. The buckets are marked and transparent so children can see the objects inside them. The balance scale is an effective tool to learn and explore numbers, volume, weight and balance while developing observation skills. Use the balance to compare different objects, the same objects in different sizes, different liquids as well as liquid vs objects. The balance can also be used to do basic math calculations with weights or liquids. Scales can be used to teach math vocabulary like "less than", "more than" and "equal to". Before you use the scale, make sure the scale pointer is on 0.
