This green seated bucket balance has 2 removable square buckets that are transparent, so children can see the objects or liquid inside them. The buckets are also clearly marked so children can measure accurately. There is an adjustment knob on the scale to ensure precision when weighing objects. Make sure the scale pointer is on 0 before you use the balance scale. Balance scales are effective tools to learn and explore numbers, volume, weight and balance while developing observation skills, logical thinking and fine motor skills. Use the balance to compare different objects, the same objects in different sizes, different liquids as well as liquid vs objects. The buckets are seated on the scale and deep to prevent spilling while measuring. Weights are sold separately.
