This cute balance scale looks like a bear to make it more attractive and fun for kids. With the balance scale, you get 12 blue bear weights as well as number weights (numbers 1-4 are green while numbers 5-9 are orange). The numbers have different sizes and weights to concretely represent number values, e.g. 5 is smaller and lighter than 7 to show 5<7. The bears also come in different sizes with their number symbols on their bellies. Balance scales are effective tools to learn and explore numbers, volume, weight and balance while developing observation skills and logical thinking. Use the balance to compare different objects as well as the same objects in different sizes or amounts. The balance scale can also be used to do basic math calculations with weights. Scales can be used to teach math vocabulary like "less than", "more than" and "equal to".
